We met in the summer of 2012 when we were both hired at Sports Authority in Denver, CO. Matt was new to town, so Hannah invited him to come hang with some friends in her college town of Fort Collins. Fast forward to summer 2013, after lots of country music concerts and some questionable karaoke performances, we started dating! In 2016, we moved to Maryland and continued working together at Under Armour. After a year and half of hanging in Hannah's hometown and adding a little kitten, Opie, to our family, we decided we missed Denver and moved back. While in Denver for the 2nd go around, we added another kitty, Dolly, and puppy, Aggie, to our zoo and bought our first house! At the beginning of 2020, Matt was offered a job in Idaho and we packed up and moved to the mountains!

We went on vacation to Hawaii with Matt's family in December of 2021. On the last day, his family left early and our flight wasn't until later in the evening, so we had planned to hang by the pool. As Hannah was sitting on the balcony, Matt came out with the ring and said "I've been wanting to give this to you for a while, do you want to get married?" Of course Hannah said "yes"! We spent the rest of the day walking along the beach and cheers'd some champagne by the pool!
