After being "best matched" by the experts of the Hinge dating app and waiting 5 months for a response back from Hannah, we finally met for the first time on November 5th, 2022 at the Gulfcoast Arts Festival in Seville Square, downtown Pensacola. Even though it was hard to secure that first date, the best things are worth waiting for. This spot was an easy decision on where I wanted to ask Hannah to marry me. A Friday night dinner date at The District steak house was a quick sell to make sure Hannah was dressed for the occasion. With the help of some friends, we met for drinks at Pensacola Bay Brewery, right outside of Seville Square park. Our short walk to dinner took us right through the middle of the park, where I got down on one knee and asked Hannah, "Do you know what today is?” It was the start of the rest of our lives together.
