What is “Garden Formal” attire?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends in their best formal spring finery! We find ourselves inspired by the sage, dusty blue, and floral tones of the estate. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length or sophisticated cocktail dresses, and gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits. Please keep the forest ceremony site in mind when selecting your footwear for the evening, as you will be navigating some natural terrain before moving to the Glass Conservatory and Bavarian Barn.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Ample complimentary parking is available on-site at The Baumberhof Estate. Upon arrival, please follow the signage toward the guest parking area. From there, our estate transport will be ready to take you to the ceremony site in the forest.

How do I get to the forest ceremony site?

Answer

Since we are exchanging vows deep within the forest, we want to ensure you arrive comfortably and in style! Complimentary estate transport will be provided upon your arrival at The Baumberhof to carry you to our secluded woodland location. Following the ceremony, the shuttles will be waiting to whisk you back to the Glass Conservatory for cocktails and the evening's celebration.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

To ensure everyone is seated and the transport has enough time to carry all guests into the forest, we kindly ask that you arrive by 4:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at five o'clock in the evening.

What if I’m running late?

Answer

Don’t worry—it happens! Should you find yourself arriving later than expected and the last shuttle to the forest has already departed, you are invited to an early cocktail hour! The wonderful Baumberhof staff will usher you to the gardens where everyone will meet you after the ceremony is finished.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning for a beautiful spring evening! The ceremony will take place outdoors in the forest, followed by a cocktail hour in the courtyard and gardens. Dinner will be hosted inside the Glass Conservatory, and we will transition to the Bavarian Barn for dancing and dessert.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a wonderful team to capture our ceremony and would love for you to be fully present with us. We kindly request an "unplugged" ceremony—please keep all phones and cameras tucked away until we’ve left the woodland location as husband and wife. After that, take as many photos as you’d like!
