Like many couples who started dating during the pandemic, we met on an app. Neither of us expected to meet the person we'd marry on Hinge, but here we are! Kevin was very quick to set up a first date, where we met for beers at Lake Monster Brewery. We hit it off right away, and before Justine even made it home, Kevin was already texting to plan the next one. We’ve gone back to Lake Monster every April 19th since, a small tradition that reminds us how it all began.

We've loved living in downtown Minneapolis and enjoying dinner dates in the North Loop, walks across the Stone Arch Bridge, catching shows, and cheering on the Gophers (and Spartans), Vikings (and Lions), and the Twins. We love traveling and exploring together. From hiking in Banff to experiencing Europe to long weekend trips some our favorite memories include: dancing and singing at Oktoberfest, biking through Central Park, exploring the Oregon coast, hopping honkey-tonk highway in Nashville, and relaxing in sunny Florida and Arizona. We can't wait for the many exciting adventures ahead!

Kevin saw an unseasonably warm March day as the perfect opportunity to pop the question. He tricked Justine into thinking we were going for a quick walk at Lake Nokomis and trying out a new restaurant. Little did she know that when Kevin suggested a short detour on the walk he would be getting down on one knee, at the same spot we decided to become exclusive over four years earlier. Justine excitingly said yes, and to top it all off, Kevin surprised her with prosecco and dinner at one of our favorite Italian restaurants.
