We met online (thank you, internet!), and our very first phone call lasted over two hours. We’ve pretty much been talking—and laughing—ever since. But here’s the twist… I (Kim) actually gave Adam a fake phone number at first. Yep, I did. It wasn’t until about a month into talking that I finally confessed. Luckily, he thought it was funny—and clearly, he forgave me. For our first date, Adam offered to pick me up. I was nervous and didn’t know what to say, so I called my brother Ryan and his wife Jess. They both knew Adam and said, “Go for it! If he’s offering, let him be a gentleman!” So I said yes—and I’m so glad I did. We had a great dinner together, and as we were leaving the restaurant, my friend Lebra called me three times. Adam looked over and asked, “Are you trying to get out of this date?” Nope! She really did call—cross my heart! Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures, belly laughs, time with the people we love most, and yes—we still give each other a hard time now and then. Now we know what it truly means to marry your best friend, and we can’t wait to say “I do” and spend forever doing life together. Let the forever adventure begin!
