We met on a blind date over Moscow Mules and ended up talking until we shut the place down. We had always heard people say "When you know, you know!", and finally got to experience it first hand. In the following weeks we had date nights at local breweries, tried some new restaurants, and Adam cooked a lot of delicious, romantic dinners at home (he still does--what a sweetheart!). We became best friends, fell in love, and the rest is history.
Adam had bought a ring and was planning a proposal when a trip to Cancun, Mexico was planned to celebrate Bruce & Cindy Sellon's 29th wedding anniversary. When an opportunity to propose on a beach presented itself, he had to take it! Adam couldn't keep a secret so he told just about everyone except Katie (even our insurance guy knew!). The night of their anniversary, we all got dressed up and went to the resort's fancy French restaurant to celebrate, followed by a sunset walk along the beach. The anticipation was just about killing Adam! As soon as we got to the shore line he dropped to his knee and bypassed the long walk and his planned speech and blurted out "Will you marry me?!" "YES!" Cue the water works! Our faces hurt from smiling so much as I'm sure they will on October 12th. Thank you for helping us celebrate the start of our lives together. We can't wait to see you all there!
