Kelly & I met in preschool and have been friends now for 27 years! (Yes, we celebrated 25 years with a trip to Galena. 10/10 recommend friendship-anniversary trips). Our friendship includes but isn't limited to: Princess Diaries, strawberry cream savers, trips to Okoboji, lightning bugs & handwritten letters. I was Kelly's maid of honor and it's so special Kelly will play the same role in mine. Kelly is curious, intentional, thoughtful, generous, and cherishes memories forever.

Merc & I met in the summer of 2015 while working at Riverside Bible Camp. But, we didn't become friends until I transferred to UNI that fall. What started as early morning breakfasts in the dining center evolved into a lifelong friendship including leading a Life Group together at BASIC, being roommates in apt 95, thousands of Sidecar hangs, and an 11 day trip to Tennessee. She is the ultimate hype woman, sparked my love for hospitality & her genuine heart for advocacy for her people is admirable.

Lexy & I met in the summer of 2015 working at Riverside Bible Camp. I always knew that I needed a friend like Lexy. In the summer of 2017, we were both on support staff at Riverside where our friendship was solidified through wild & Holy memories. Although we've never lived in the same town, phone calls & Marco Polo (with Merc) has been our friendship glue. (Promise me, keeping up with long distance friends is worth it!) Lexy is courageous, hard-working, curious, and loyal to her people, including me.

Abby & I met in 2013 when we were campers at Riverside. (Yup, another camp friend.) Who knew that we would work a camp together for many years to come followed by starting at UNI the same day! In college, most Mondays you could find us at Caribou and on most Tuesdays we were eating lunch together in the Piazza. After college you could find us creating legendary VBS skits & going on Covid walks. Abby is fun, kind, down-to-earth, and always down for a spontaneous marg hangout.

Karla & I knew of each other through BASIC in college and thank GOODNESS a mutual friend suggested we live together. What started as acquaintances doing homework at our dining room table, resulted in good friends living together for over 6 years. Listen, we survived covid together (a true test of friendship) through daily drives around the neighborhood, strawberry shakes, and deep conversations on our porch. Karla is caring, always down for a walk, intentional, and has always encouraged me to be the best version of myself.

Amber & I met in college in the back of a church van, but legit weren't true friends until she moved into my house with Karla and I in the fall of 2023. Amber and I immediately bonded over our love for the movie Jumanji and our love for college students. I'm so thankful for dozens of Thursday nights at BASIC serving college students together. Amber is spontaneous, fun, adventurous, and always wants what is best for those around her.
