Elizabeth (Liz) and Jackie met in high school and have been friends for over 20 years. Liz is also an honorary member of the Helpern family, and since Liz and her family live near Jackie's parents, we are blessed that they join us for celebrations and holidays! Liz and her two sons were also some of the first people in Jackie's life to meet Adam after they started dating.

Holly and Jackie met about seven years ago at a meditation retreat and became fast friends. Since then, Holly and Jackie have visited each other in New York, Colorado, and California multiple times. Holly lives in Truckee, California, so when Jackie, Adam, and all of Adam's immediate family traveled to the redwoods in 2022, Holly got to meet everyone and everyone got to meet Holly's dog and multiple cats!
