FAQs

The Wedding Website of Giacinto Mirto and Adam Newton
Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1, 2025.

Question

Oh no! I didn't receive an RSVP card to send back or I lost it?

Answer

Not to worry! We didn't send one. Please RSVP using this website.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Black Tie Tropical! Think fun, bold, jewel tone colors and floral patterns with an air of sophistication. We drew inspiration from our venue which has Mediterranean flair, full of tropical plants and colorful Spanish tiles. And don't forget to bring your dancing shoes! Check out the link below or you can find it linked as a travel note on the travel page https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Hna_SvrUA-u3Heui4kn-HJyppDcHp2GJ/view?usp=sharing

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have indicated plus ones when you RSVP. If your invite did not include "Guest," a plus one has not been accounted for you.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Of course! They've already been included in your invite. (by the way, there won't be any radio edits)

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

The wedding is at Fandi Mata in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY. The address is 74 Bayard St, Brooklyn, NY 11222. You can type either into a map or rideshare app.

Question

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

An Uber or Lyft is the easiest way, regardless of where you're staying. We encourage you to book one of the suggested hotels around McCarren Park for the shortest trip or even stroll.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the venue?

Answer

There is no shuttle.

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

There is not. We will be staying at one of the hotels around McCarren Park and walking distance to the venue. We have listed recommended hotels on the "Getting Here & Where to Stay" that are also close to the venue and a few others we love in Manhattan. There are hundreds of hotels around the city to accommodate any budget — including the McCallister suite at the Plaza — and close to any activities you might have planned while you're here!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

November in NYC should be crisp in the mid 50's and can drop to the mid 40's — but thanks to global warming, it could also be in the 70s or snow, so check your weather app a week before. The venue itself can get toasty (fitting with the Mediterranean vibes) so maybe dress in layers that can come off as the night progresses.

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

There is street parking and several parking garages close to the venue.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue is completely indoors however please check the weather if you're walking from a hotel.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The first level of the venue space, where the majority of the ceremony will take place, is wheelchair accessible. The cocktail hour will be on the mezzanine up stairs that does not have wheelchair access, but there will be accomodations on the main level during this time.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

The menu is Mediterranean-inspired including seafood, chicken, beef, lamb and plenty of vegetarian options served family-style. A chef will be onsite to answer any dietary questions.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, duh. There will be aperitivos and bubbles upon arrival, full open bar during cocktail hour and the reception, and digestivos served during dessert and coffee.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Yes — just not during the ceremony. We ask you be present so you can remember the moment and not watch it through your phone. A professional photographer will be there to capture the whole experience.

Question

Arrival times for weddings are so confusing, when should I get there?

Answer

Doors open at 5:30 for our 6:00pm sharp ceremony. Plan to come between 5:30 and 5:45, enjoy an arrival apertivo spritz and mingle before taking your seat!

Question

What if something changes and I can/can't make it after I RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know as soon as you know via this website or reach out to us directly.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Check out the Registry link above!
