Travel Note

Directions

The Tea Room is a mystery on most maps. The actual address is 8346 High Knob Road Frederick, MD - but does not pop up on most GPS systems (including Apple Maps- I think). However, if you use Google Maps, just type in the Tea Room and it will take you to the correct location. Otherwise, use the directions below starting form US 40-W: Directions from US 40-W/Baltimore National Pike (from DC or Frederick) Take US 40-W/Baltimore National Pike Turn onto 5 Forks Road/Gambrill Park Road (take for about 1.5 miles) Make a left at the T in the Road. There is a wooden sign saying Welcome High Knob Scenic Area. Keep going strait, you will enter the parking lot. One you start to loop around, you will see the Tea Room. Feel free to park wherever you like. Last note: Dress WARM!! It looks like it will be chilly on April 8th, so please dress for the weather. We are hoping to still have the ceremony outdoors, but this may change depending on the weather.

For all the days along the way
