We ask that guests submit their RSVPs (attending or not) by May 31st, 2025.
In a few words: summer cocktail. This could mean chinos or slacks with a button-up (short sleeve is fine), a flowy sundress, or some other version of 'light, breezy, and fun'. Stable shoes (flats or low, wide heels) are recommended. Colors (other than white/ivory and light blue) are encouraged!
We feel very fortunate to have been able to purchase all we need in the way of home goods ourselves over the last few years of living together. In lieu of a material gift, we have set up a cash fund to help fund our honeymoon - which we plan to take in early 2026. Most importantly, however, we ask that you give us the gift of your presence on our special day.
Yes, although carpooling or use of a rideshare service are still recommended (especially if you want to drink!) There will be a parking lot for wedding guests across the street from the venue. It is a short (1 minute) walk from the designated lot to the venue. Be on the lookout for signs to point you in the right direction! You may notice that there are a small number of parking spots on the side of the barn itself. These spots will be reserved for the bride and groom, bridal party, vendors, and immediate family as well as any guest with mobility limitations. If you fit any or multiple of these categories and would like to park in the closer lot, please reach out to us so we may reserve a spot for you!
Yes. There will be beer, wine, cider, and an assortment of canned/bottled seltzers and alcoholic juices (Mike's Hard Lemonade, White Claws, and Trulys for example) for guests to enjoy. In addition, we will have non-alcoholic beverages and of course, water. Hard alcohol is not allowed at the venue, but trust us, there will be plenty of other options!
If you have been given a plus one, your invitation will be addressed to your name "and guest". When you RSVP, please enter the total number of guests in your party including yourself and your guest.
Our venue is located on a small plateau slightly uphill from the nearest road at the edge of UCSC campus. Since the barn is located on UCSC property, it meets all ADA requirements for a university building. There is one ADA parking spot directly next to the barn - no more than 10 feet from the entrance to the venue. Any guest with mobility limitations is more than welcome to use this space. The ground is a mixture between grass, packed gravel, and cement.
If your kids are invited, they will be listed on the invitation you received. Please include children in your head count when you RSVP. If you have more specific questions about the venue and accommodations for kids, please reach out to us!
There will be plenty of vegetarian options provided for dinner. If you have more specific dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
