We kindly require all RSVPs be made by April 1, 2025. After this date, the RSVP collection will be closed.
No. We have a hotel block at the Radisson Hotel in Rockford, IL. See the Travel page for further details.
We are requiring an unplugged ceremony. Not only are we paying money for multiple professionals to capture the moments for everyone, but we also want our guests to be present in the moment with us. This is an intimate time and we kindly ask you to respect our "no phones" policy. Once the ceremony is over, snap away! We want to see cocktail hour and the reception from your point of view, so be sure to use #MakingTheMurfins if you post to social media!
We recommend arriving between 4:00 - 4:30 p.m. This ensures you can park, mingle, and pick a seat - not a side. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:45 p.m. Late arrivals will not be allowed in the garden once the ceremony starts.
Yes. Williams Tree Farm has parking on site. Coordinators will be directing cars to ensure trouble-free parking before the ceremony. Please note that if you end up not being able to drive safely at the end of the night you may leave your car in the parking lot at Williams Tree Farm. You MUST pick up your vehicle the next day before noon or your car will be towed.
As long as Mother Nature allows, the ceremony will take place outside in the water garden. A backup plan has been made to hold the ceremony inside the Tree Farm if the weather does not allow for outside. The reception will be inside the Tree Farm, however, there is a gathering section outside with yard games and a smokeless firepit.
Yes. You can smoke only in the designated smoking sections, including vaping (located with standing ashtrays). You may NOT smoke inside the venue. Any fines for breaking the venue's smoking policy will be paid by the offender, not the bride and groom.
We ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Look good, feel good! We request all guests refrain from wearing white. Please and thank you for understanding as this is very important.
We love your little ones, but no kids will be allowed. Plus, Mom and Dad deserve a night of fun and relaxation. We hope you understand and can make arrangements to join us.
The cocktail hour will include finger foods. Dinner will be a steak, chicken, and fajita taco bar. When you RSVP you will be prompted to answer questions regarding any dietary information.
There will be a modified open bar. The bar options include beer, wine, and select mixed drinks. Don't forget to please tip the bartenders. *Please note, the bar will be closed during dinner. We feel this is important to allow our bartenders time to eat before a night of hard work.*
Gifts are not required. If you would like to purchase a gift please see the Registry page for selected items or to contribute to the Honeymoon Fund. Anything you gift us is always appreciated, but again, it is not required.
Plus ones are invitation only due to set limitations. Therefore, we kindly ask guests not to bring a guest on their own. Thank you for understanding.
Yes, cocktail hour will begin as soon as the ceremony ends. Bar drinks, appetizers, and lawn games will be available to you during this time. For smoking, please smoke only in the designated smoking areas. The bridal party and the new Mr. & Mrs. will be announced around 6:15 P.M.
Yes! Please stop by the photo booth (however many times!)! Props are available. You will receive a copy of your pictures, and one will get glued into a book for us to keep! We will treasure those memories forever.
The reception will end promptly at 11:00 p.m. However, the party won't stop. Head over to the Hard Rock Casino - Rockford, to keep the night alive. The hotel is within walking distance of the Casino, so no need to drive!
