Are the hotel options pet friendly?

Answer

2 of our 4 hotel blocks are reserved at dog friendly hotels. These are identified on the 'Travel' page as being pet friendly.

Is this an outdoor wedding?

Answer

Our venue is outdoors, however they do have heated pavilions (they have both ceiling heaters and heated floors) for use. They did advise that, as long as the weather is above about 20 degrees, they'd be able to keep guests pretty warm, however we suggest if you run cold to keep this in mind when selecting your attire.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please reach out if you have more questions on what this may look like. This is an outdoor wedding, so please keep that in mind when choosing your attire, we'd hate for you to be chilly! We do ask that guests avoid wearing the colors white and terracotta as these colors are reserved for the bridal party.

Can I take photos?

We LOVE our photographer (no, really- she's the best!) and we know you will too. We invite you to put electronics down for our unplugged ceremony, and ask that you be fully present during this most joyous day. Rest assured that our photo/video team will capture all the smiles, belly laughs, and happy tears that the day might bring.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

As the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm, we ask that all guests arrive about 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. The shuttle leaves promptly at 3:00 for a 3:30pm arrival to the venue.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

For those traveling to Wisconsin to be with us on our special day: Wisconsin Octobers can be a bit unpredictable, but have been warmer (think mid 50's- mid 60's) in the past few years. While we can't guarantee any certain weather on the day of, we are hopeful for a beautiful fall day.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Shuttle service will run from the Courtyard Appleton Riverfront to the venue at 3:00 pm. Return service will run at 9,10, and 11 pm.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is RSVP only and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Can we leave cars at the venue overnight?

Answer

Stone Prairie does allow guests to leave vehicles overnight, but as there is a wedding the day after ours, they are asking that all cars be picked up by 10 AM Saturday morning.

What time does the reception end?

Answer

Due to a city noise ordinance, music will conclude at 11pm.
