Flights to Chicago

O'Hare Airport (ORD) is about a 30-minute drive from Evanston. Midway Airport (MDW) is typically about 60 minutes, yet traffic can add substantial travel time. Plan to rent a car or arrange other transport for the ceremony and reception.

Arriving by Ground

From Indiana: I-65 N to I-94 W through Chicago. Then, exit 37B Dempster St. East to Evanston. This route is toll-free but may be congested. Alternately, I-65 N to I-90 W (Chicago Skyway) to I-94 W through downtown, and then exit 37B Dempster St East to Evanston, as above. This saves time but requires about $10 in tolls.

Wedding Ceremony

Grace Presbyterian Church is located 15 minutes north of central Evanston. Take Green Bay Rd north into Winnetka and turn left onto Cherry St. The church is immediately on the left at the intersection of Ridge Ave and Cherry St. Ample free parking is available on local streets around the church. Please follow posted signs for Winnetka parking regulations. Attire is semi-formal.

Luncheon Reception

The Woman's Club of Evanston is a historic nonprofit organization located at the corner of Chicago Ave and Church St in downtown Evanston. From the church, take Green Bay Rd south into Evanston. Take a slight right onto Ridge Ave heading south and then turn left at Church St. Proceed 4 blocks to the venue located at the intersection of Chicago and Church. Parking is available in the public parking garage located at 525 Church St, across the street from the Woman's Club. Drinks and hors' d'oeuvres will be served from 12:30 - 1:30 pm, and the luncheon reception is from 1:30 - 4:30 pm. Attire is semi-formal.
