It all started on September 4, 2020, during Labor Day weekend—a date they will never forget. Adam had invited Ryleigh and her best friend, Becca, over to Andy Unmussig’s house for a pool party. However, just as they got into the water, Mother Nature intervened with a sudden thunderstorm. As everyone rushed to exit the pool, Adam tried to jump out playfully but ended up falling. He immediately grabbed his leg in severe pain. Though he tried to stand, he collapsed right away, knowing something was terribly wrong. Andy helped him inside to get out of the rain, and Ryleigh immediately stepped in to take care of him. A trip to the emergency room and a few X-rays later, they discovered Adam had broken his fibula and torn a tendon. It was so memorable, in fact, that Adam and Ryleigh made Sept 4th 2020 their anniversary. The rest is history, and it's safe to say Adam truly "fell head over heels" for her!
