If your invitation includes another name or says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal. The wedding will be held at a mosque so please dress conservatively :)

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ARAB OR MUSLIM WEDDINGS?

Answer

Since this is a Muslim wedding, there will be no pork or alcohol. Please do not bring your own alcohol either. Men, some Muslim women do not hug or shake hands with men, so it's safest to just place your right hand on your heart when greeting women. In addition, Arab or Muslim weddings rarely have assigned seating. We will not have assigned seats so feel free to sit with people you know, and use this opportunity to meet new people!

WHAT'S THE BEST AIRPORT TO FLY INTO?

Answer

San Jose (SJC) is the closest to fly into but you may fly into San Francisco or Oakland as well.
