What is the dress code for the wedding?

Black Tie Neutral - the Detroit Opera House is the perfect venue for dressing up to the nines! We are very excited to see how amazing you all look in your tuxes and gowns.

Are the hotels within walking distance to the venue?

Answer

Yes! All of the hotels on our travel page are only a few blocks away from the Detroit Opera House.

What kind of dinner will be offered after the ceremony?

Answer

We will be doing a strolling dinner without formal seating arrangements. We want our wedding to feel like a a party and give you the opportunity to mingle and move about the venue.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love the kiddos we would like to keep all wedding events for adults only.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a valet available to help with parking for the evening.

Should we tip the bartenders and staff?

Answer

We will have an open bar and will be taking care of the gratuity for our guests. All you have to do is have a ball!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for everyone to keep their phones and cameras away during the ceremony so we can all share in an amazing moment together without distractions. We have amazing photographers and videographers capturing everything that day!

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

We would appreciate if all gifts and cards were sent to our residence, the address for which you can find on your invite or you can have gifts shipped to our house through the registry.
