If you plan to stay in the Whitefish area, you can get by with walking/ubers. If you plan to explore Glacier/other locations, a car would be useful! Many places don't have any cars available by now, but Turo usually still has some options.

I want to go to Glacier Park, do I need to do anything?
Answer
YES! Starting this year, you need a reservation to go on the Going-to-the-Sun road. You can still get into the park without a reservation, but cannot go on the road. If tickets are sold out, they will open more tickets the day before you plan on going. How do I get from the airport to Grouse Mountain Lodge?
Answer
If you're flying into Whitefish, there is a shuttle that will take you to Grouse Mountain Lodge. They recommend calling them AHEAD of time to schedule the shuttle. The number is (406) 862-3000. They have scheduled shuttles from the lodge to downtown.
