Dank and Randy's Story

It was an ordinary Thursday night at the University of Dayton, 2018. Miranda and the girls were having a few drinks at their apartment and Greg and Adam were finishing up their studies at their dorm. Since both of the boys were thirsty and finishing up with their homework for the night, Greg knew a group of girls that were willing to share a drink to make new friends. The moment that Adam walked in, Miranda knew she saw someone special. They shared a drink of the finest white rum her part time college job could afford her, and a beautiful friendship flourished. For the next year, they stayed as friends, getting into shenanigans all over UD and every McDonalds within a 15-mile radius of campus. They both had a deep connection over a love of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, the game of stump, and banging pots and pans to the song "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo and Stitch. It was all until one night, just Adam and Miranda went to get a late night McFlurry - just the two of them, and they shared a hug that lingered just a little too long to be friendly. They stayed up all night driving the city and talking. Then, the rest was history! Adam and Miranda built such a strong relationship as just one week into dating, they were sent home from school because of Covid-19. They talked for hours over the phone and got to know each other on a much deeper sense than an enjoyment of macaroni and cheese. They finished out college together, got big kid jobs, and moved into an apartment in Dayton after. They adopted two amazing little kitty cats, Ralph and Rosie which are their greatest joys. They traveled together, from amazing weekend trips all over the US and with friends, to the UAE with Dad or Jamaica just the two of them. They bought their first house in 2022 which was their biggest risk and favorite project. And January 5th of 2023, Adam finally popped the question. Our love story continues, and we are so excited to see everything that we will continue to accomplish together, from more cats, more trips, building a family, and hopefully a lot more macaroni and cheese. If you made it this far, I guess you were one of the special ones that we get to know this little tidbit. Miranda and Adam quietly exchanged vows to each other sharing their commitment to marriage on February 28, 2024 in Jamaica. It was just the bride and groom, a wonderful Jamaican minister named Alexander, and the photographer, Dwayne. It was short, sweet, and impromptu elopement; but we simply could not wait to claim each-other’s hearts forever. With that being said, we are so thrilled to not only finalize our marriage in the eyes of God in his house at St. Brendan The Navigator, but also celebrate with you. Thank you for being a part of our lives and love story. Cheers!
