Adam and Millena first met at George Fox University, where they were both studying Biology. They took a few classes together and occasionally ended up in the same study groups, but their paths never crossed in a meaningful way. They survived college, graduated and went their separate ways, assuming that was the end of their story. Thankfully, it wasn’t. After graduation, both Adam and Millena independently moved to Wilsonville, Oregon—without realizing they lived in the same town for over two years! One night, a routine trip to Fred Meyer changed everything. In the pasta aisle, they unexpectedly ran into each other, caught up briefly, and went their separate ways... again. This time, though, Adam couldn’t stop thinking about Millena. Sitting in his car in the parking lot, he sent her a message asking if she’d like to get coffee. She said yes—and that simple “yes” turned into something much more.
