Maid of Honor
It's hard to imagine that this sweet friend was once a stranger I met at Southwest Baptist University. We started as suitemates and became instant friends. College shenanigans, philosophical discussions, good coffee excursions, concerts, Facetime calls, and road trips—distance doesn't stop us. We've lived lots of life stuff together and I'm grateful to have her next to me on this day and beyond!
Best Man
We were on the same dorm floor our Freshmen year of college. We then were roommates for three more years. We ate a lot of Taco Bell, played a lot of basketball at the Rec Center, and watched a lot of sports during college. Even though he's a Michigan fan, I'm really excited for him to be a part of our special day!
Matron of Honor
We go way back to elementary/middle school. Eriana and I have so many good memories, from growing up together as kids, to now navigating life as we are planning both of our weddings! I love the story God has written of our friendship as He has brought us even closer these last several years. We're big on adventures and coffee and music and processing life together. I'm so grateful to have Eriana by my side on this day and the adventures to come.
Groomsman
I've known Nick since my freshman year of college when we were on the same dorm floor. We spent a lot of time together throughout college and ended up rooming together our senior year. Nick loves the New England Patriots (that makes one of us), and he is known in our friend group as "pappy". Nick is one of a kind because of his outgoing and fun personality. We can't wait to have him be a part of our big day.
Bridesmaid
Stormy is my sister-in-love, and she's also one of my dear friends. (Fun fact, I actually met her at SBU even before Spencer met her!) Stormy is hilarious and extremely loving, and we've bonded over good food, family vacations, lazy summer days, and so much more. I'm so thankful we've grown close and that I get to have her as a sister and friend forever.
Groomsman
Spencer is Micayla's younger brother. I've known him for a little over a year. We connected immediately over our love for sports and Micayla of course. It's been awesome to see the relationship that he and Micayla have. We both are honored to have Spencer as a part of our big day!
Bridesmaid
I met Megan at SBU when she joined the RA staff I was part of. We quickly became friends while sharing the first floor of our dorm (and the fact that we had nearly the exact same class schedule). The hours spent in the library writing papers, our love for Tenth Avenue North and other music, late night talks, a mission trip to Alaska, and so much more deepened a friendship that lasts beyond the college days. I'm grateful to have her celebrate this day with us.
Groomsman
Noah is my second youngest brother. I am five years and five days older than him. Noah really enjoys history, reading, and he's very talented musically. Noah and I have always had a mutual interest in singing, and we both have October birthdays. I can't wait to have Noah as a part of our special day.
Bridesmaid
Julia was one of the first people I knew at SBU besides my suitemates. We went from being in the same large friend group to being in the close-knit Leslie RA family. Our deep friendship has continued since college, and I lived with her for a season in Joplin, MO. Julia has a big heart for missions and thanks to technology, we've stayed connected across oceans, and now across states while she's in seminary. Love that she'll be with us on this special day!
Groomsman
Seth is my youngest brother. We have always shared an interest in sports, being competitive, and singing. Seth enjoys going to youth group and hanging out with friends. We are so excited to have Seth as a part of our special day!
