FAQs

The Wedding Website of Adam Clarke and Mary Noreen Cheng
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is Black Tie Optional

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM; we recommend arriving 15 minutes early

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Uptown Elmhurst is a quick walk from the church; some of our favorite spots are Tannins Wine Bar, Pazzi di Pizza, Francescas, and Pints if you want to grab a drink or a quick bite. Additionally the lounge area at River Forest CC will be open if you want to arrive early.

Question

Can I bring children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

How should I get to and from the events?

Answer

There is ample parking at both the church and reception; you're also welcome to leave your car overnight at River Forest CC. If you prefer not to drive Ubers and Lyfts are easy to come by (since the locations are close to O'Hare Airport). As much as Adam loves public transit he admits that this isn't the best option for getting to and from the wedding (although the Welcome Drinks on Friday are very transit-able!)

Question

Got any Friday night dinner recommendations?

Answer

If you're looking for dinner on Friday night before the welcome drinks these are our favorite restaurants in the area: * Piccolo Sogno - Fantastic italian with a gorgeous outdoor patio steps away from the welcome drinks * Trivoli Tavern - Mary's favorite restaurant in Chicago! Reservations open 21 days in advance at 9AM and sell out almost immediately * Au Cheval - The best burger in Chicago (and possibly the world) - but be aware that they don't take reservations so put your name in ~2 hours before you plan to eat and spend some time shopping on Randolph * Parlor Pizza - Just fantastic pizza (and an easy reservation for bigger groups!)
