We’re getting married!

After countless attempts by our parents to date, it finally became a possibility. Mady awkwardly asked Adam to help cut down their Christmas tree (it was Mia's idea to call him). He agreed and by the end of the experience, Adam had run over a log with his truck and left a lasting impact on Mady. It didn't hurt that he bought her pizza afterward. The rest is history.

Two years to the day that we started dating, Adam brought me to Chicago. I was so excited because my parents were also coming to see Hamilton with me! We went to the Arts Institute and then to the Bean. I was oblivious to everything around me, distracted by all of the pretty lights and the ice skating rink. When I heard Adam say my name, I turned around and he was on one knee. He asked me to marry him, and the first thing I said to him was, "Are you f***ing kidding me right now?" I was speechless! I eventually said yes through the tears!
