Adam and I first meet in 2017, but ask him those details because I was none the wiser. He was another chef interviewing for a position at my place of employment and I was the pretty line cook. Fast forward more than a year later in 2019 and we “reconnected” via Facebook. Adam was looking for a Sous chef and I was hoping to keep connections with the culinary world while I was taking a hiatus and working as a nanny. Although I declined his offer we continued to chat via Facebook and eventually I decided to check out the restaurant he was running at the time. It took me coming in a second time before he came to say hi. He was smitten but I took some convincin’. After I helped him out with a wine dinner and we went to a Greek fest....Things seem to start falling into place. My favorite part is he took his time to get to know me and to be my friend.....to become my best friend.
