How far in advance should I reserve a hotel or campsite?

Answer

Reserve as soon as possible! The Petoskey area in August is packed with tourists so book your hotel room or campsite well in advance to ensure you have a place to stay.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside? What if it rains?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is planned to be outside with some chairs being set up inside the pavillion while others will spill out onto the lawn. Our reception is indoors at the Rec Hall but we are planning on playing yard games and giving guests the freedom to move indoors/outdoors as they please. In the case of rain, we will plan to have the ceremony and reception inside the Rec Hall.

Are Children allowed at the wedding/reception?

Answer

Yes! Feel free to bring your kids for both events but please be mindful that as the night progresses, there may be less for them to do. There is a very nice playground area across from the event buildings. We will be serving alcohol so please use your own judgement on how long they should be present.
