We first met at Middlesex County College in September 2014 at the start of our Sophomore year, while organizing a club called the Biology Society, because we're geeks! We began hanging out together while setting up the club, and Likhitha was also the class TA in Adam's Genetics course. After hanging out at various different study groups, we would see each other around campus, developing a deep friendship and then started dating. We later went to Rutgers University together to study Biotechnology/Biochemistry and we’ve been together ever since, through thick and thin.
Our proposal was a bit unique as it culminated in a mutual agreement, with a beautifully intimate engagement ceremony and celebration with family and some very close friends on Thanksgiving 2022. Likhitha was very dainty and wanted to design our rings, so we went to the NY Diamond District along with Likhitha’s mom and designed our exquisite engagement rings. On that Thanksgiving day, we woke up early, went to Sai Baba temple, had a scrumptious south Indian brunch, and got ready for an exciting adventure ahead. In the evening, we exchanged our promises to one another and asked each other the ultimate question: Will you share your pizza and chicken biryani with me for the rest of our lives? Not so shockingly, we both said yes! Rings were presented, hugs and kisses were shared, and it was an amazing experience! We're so excited for you to join us as we say "I do" at our wedding in May of 2023. See you soon!
