Yes! Visitors from the U.S. can legally drive in France using a valid U.S. driver’s license. While an International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended, it’s not strictly required for short visits. Keep in mind that driving is on the right side of the road (just like in the U.S.), but many rental cars are manual—so be sure to request an automatic if needed. Most major car rental companies are also available in France. We recommend booking your rental car in advance and brushing up on French road signs and toll systems for a smooth experience!

We will have a Welcome Brunch on May 11 for those who are already in the area. Otherwise, we recommend arriving no later than Monday, May 11 so you have time to settle in before the wedding celebration on May 13. Please check out the schedule page for dates and times of the celebration events.
Unfortunately, no. We recommend renting a car or setting up private transportation as needed.
For the ceremony, we will be renting a lot not far from the chateau for any personal cars to park there.
While we love your little ones, the celebration will be an adults-only affair (except for a few small VIPs). We hope this gives everyone a chance to fully relax and enjoy.
