Adam and Lauren went out on their first date on New Years Eve 2015. They went with a group to eat sushi (one of their favorite meals) and then to the Marriott's NYE party downtown.

Adam surprised Lauren by planning a trip to New York City during Christmas as her birthday present. After seeing a few sights and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, they went to a late lunch and then for a walk in Central Park. As it started to rain, Adam popped the question at Bethesda Terrace next to the fountain.
