Adam and I met on the Christian Mingle dating app. I am forever grateful that we both gave online dating a try, and that we came across each other. After 1 week of talking online, we decided to go on our first date! We met at On the Border Mexican restaurant in St. Charles. I can still remember the way I felt the moment we met...we connected right away and it had felt like we had known each other forever. It was the best feeling I have ever felt! Our conversations were so real and it was so effortless. We laughed and talked so much, I could barely eat my food! Haha. After our date, we were inseparable, and the rest is our continuing story.

We went to Chicago Botanic Garden to see the Christmas lights, or so I thought. After awhile, Adam took me to an area where there were stairs and beautiful Christmas trees behind us. The funny thing is, he asked me to take a picture of the area, and I asked.. "Well, I already took a picture of the lights, so why do I need to take more here?" After I said this, he said... "Since when do you ever question taking a picture?" Haha. When I finally took the picture, I turned around and saw that he was on one knee! After he popped the question, I was so speechless, I almost forgot to answer! Then I saw flashing lights everywhere and saw his sister Ashley and cousin Sam coming out of the bushes taking pictures of us! It was the most amazing moment that I wish I could replay over and over. Of course, I said YES!
