Question

When should I RSVP by?

I didn't RSVP, but can I come anyway?

Answer

Unfortunately no, we have had to turn in final numbers of guests, which impacts the quantities of food and beverage that are supplied for the event as well as the number of actual seats provided at both the ceremony and reception. We hope we can celebrate with you at a later time!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-Formal.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 in the afternoon. Please note that it will take place in the Forest Retreat behind Northern Haus, so allow time (approximately 5 minutes) for the walk from the parking lot to the retreat.

Where should I sit for the ceremony?

Answer

Please feel free to sit on either side of the aisle! We only ask that the first row stays reserved for direct family.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards.

Where should I sit for the reception?

Answer

We will have assigned seating for dinner. We will have clear signage indicating everyone's table number.

What are my meal options for dinner?

Answer

For dinner, you can choose a main course of either a Traditional Paella or a Seafood Paella. The Traditional Paella includes chicken, Spanish chorizo, caramelized garlic, tomato, onion, and saffron flowers cooked together in a chicken broth with spanish rice. The Seafood Paella will have shrimp, scallops, and mussels added on top of the Traditional Paella.

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

During cocktail hour (5-6 pm) we will be having an open bar. Afterwards, we will have complimentary beer and wine until bar close at 11 pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space restraints, we kindly request that only guests who have received formal invitations attend our wedding. If you think we didn't provide the correct number of invites, please reach out.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to space restraints, we kindly request that only the children of our immediate family members attend the wedding. Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle to the venue, but there will be a shuttle running from 10:30 PM-2:30 AM. The shuttle will be picking people up from the venue from 10:30 PM-12:00 AM and dropping them off in or around Sister Bay (10 mile radius). There will be an after party at Husby's in Sister Bay. The shuttle will be picking people up outside Husby's from 12:00 AM-2:30 AM and dropping them off in or around Sister Bay (10 mile radius).

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Northern Haus has a huge parking lot for 110 cars, so parking will not be an issue. Northern Haus allows cars to be parked in their lot overnight, but asks that cars be moved by 9:30 the following morning.
