There are big payoffs on the short but steep Top of the World hike in Laguna Beach. You'll climb through the coastal scrub of Aliso and Wood Canyon Wilderness Park until you reach the panoramic vista at Top of the World. From there, you'll have views from Catalina Island to Mt Baldy, and there's even a bench where you can soak it all in. This is a more difficult hike so please take that into consideration.
Get a cup of coffee or tea from one of our favorite coffee places with the coolest of people.
There's literally way too many things to list that you can do at the Dana Point Harbor. Get a burger at Turks, go whale watching, take the boat to Catalina Island (I've never been so I've got no recommendations there but I hope you enjoy it ~ Kelly), or just hang out and make fun of the sea lions.
The Ocean Institute offers kayak tours, tidepool tours, and guided snorkeling tours. It is also the place where Stephen Hillenburg (Creator of SpongeBob) created the original spongebob comic. If you walk past the institute up a small trail there is a beautiful cliffside that is perfect to watch the sun set.
Feel free to visit the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It's pretty neat. It's Catholic!
Just across the train tracks from the Mission in San Juan Capistrano you will find a coffee spot called Hidden House. "They have the BEST VEGAN COOKIES" ~ Kelly
This is literally one of my favorite places (Kelly). They have hand rolls and amazing anime inspired cocktails (and mocktails!).
Calling all millenials! It's a speakeasy that you don't have to sneak in to! (They also have some of the best beef tallow fries I've ever had ~ Kelly)
If you've ever watched Arrested Development this is basically where they filmed most of it. Go get a frozen banana; there's two competing storefronts literally right next to each other
This is where they filmed the 1988 movie Beaches. There's a Shake Shack overlooking the beach and it's honestly just really pretty. You have to drive through Laguna Beach to get here; so go spend the day exploring in Laguna and then see the sunset at Crystal Cove.
