It sure took a while to get here! We met at UT Arlington in 2017 at the Baptist Student Ministry on campus. Despite (numerous) efforts (by the bride) to flirt and talk, we remained friends and would hang out in large groups. After graduating, Adam moved to Austin to attend Law School (hook 'em!) and Katie taught middle school at Mansfield ISD. Years later, and unknowingly to both, Katie and Adam were looking for an excuse to reach out and reconnect. And wouldn't you know it: Katie got selected for jury duty! She (immediately) messaged Adam (with no ulterior motives at all) to tell him about her experience in the courtroom. Their chatting led to coffee, which led to dinner, which led to dating, which led to love, which led to, well, right here!
