FAQs

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than February 16th using the QR code on your formal invitation or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by February 16th, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This will mean you are not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.)

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you but understand! If you are unable to attend, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "yes" but find out you cannot make it, please notify Katelyn as soon as you are aware!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Yes! We have a registry through Zola and at Walmart. Please click the "registry" tab above to view.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to see our loved ones dressed up with us! The dress code for our wedding is garden party attire. Garden party attire is whimsical, dressy, and designed to be worn outdoors. It falls between semi-formal and cocktail attire, pulling in the colors of spring. (Think Kentucky Derby minus the hats!) For the ladies this means flowy dresses, breathable fabrics, and shoes that can be worn on uneven ground. For the gentlemen this means light suits or dress slacks with a button-up and tie. Please refrain from wearing white, that of course is saved for the Bride. We kindly request no jeans, flip flops, or polo shirts, please!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While we cannot predict the weather, April in Tennessee is typically mild and temperatures hover around 70, dropping cooler once the sun sets. Storms are not uncommon in April, so please send good vibes and prayers for beautiful (and non-tornadic) weather!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this special day with our closest friends and family. In keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, for our special day we've decided to keep our wedding adults-only so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as an opportunity for a special date night!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception taking place at the same location? Is it indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on grass (weather permitting). The reception will be inside the country chic barn, just steps from the ceremony site.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at our venue. The lot is gravel so we recommend carpooling if you are able to save yourself from a longer walk. Uber/Lyft are abundant in Nashville proper but may take a little longer if you are staying closer to the venue. Please allow for extra time if you choose to travel via rideshare.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 4:00 to allow time to park, find your seat and settle in. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 and latecomers may be held at the entrance so as not to disturb the ceremony. We so appreciate your promptness!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, and seltzers are on us but the hangover is on you. Party responsibly!

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol served by a licensed bartender. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages onto the premises. We appreciate your attention and cooperation regarding this matter.
