Who would have thought a country girl from rural Iowa and a city boy from downtown Raleigh would find their forever in each other? Yet, here we are—preparing to celebrate the blend of two beautifully different lives. Kate grew up with wide-open spaces and horses as her closest companions. When she moved to North Carolina, her love for the outdoors and the quiet charm of the country planted her on a small horse farm outside of the city limits. Adam, on the other hand, has always been surrounded by the pulse of the city—his high rise lifestyle offering skyline views, bustling streets, and the hum of urban life. Their worlds first collided on a date in downtown Raleigh, where they quickly learned that opposites do more than attract—they complement. Since that first night, they’ve been bouncing between the city and the country, sharing nights out on the town, days by the lake, and quiet moments on the farm. Each adventure has only deepened their appreciation for each other’s worlds. ⸻ The Proposal Adam’s proposal perfectly captured the blend of their worlds—thoughtful, heartfelt, and a little bit country. (Kate never in million years thought this man would propose in a Carhartt and cowboys boots!) On a quiet Saturday morning, just as the couple was getting ready for a weekend trail ride, Adam surprised Kate in the barn. He told her he’d gotten Jazz, Kate’s childhood horse, a beautiful leather halter as a belated Christmas gift. When Kate went to slip the halter over Jazz’ muzzle, she noticed something engraved on the side: “Kate, marry me?” She turned around to find Adam down on one knee, with a ring in his hand and friends hidden nearby to capture the moment. It was a perfect mix of her favorite things—horses, friendship, and a celebratory toast with Champagne 🥂 But Adam wasn’t done yet. That evening, he pulled off a second surprise—an engagement party with their closest friends at the same dive bar where they had their first date. It was the perfect way to start their new chapter, surrounded by the people who had watched their love grow. ⸻ The Wedding & Celebration Kate and Adam will exchange vows in a small, intimate ceremony among the rolling hills of rural Tuscany— a place that has long held a special spot in Kate’s heart. Over a decade ago, she first explored this breathtaking region on a horseback riding trip with her mom, discovering her love for travel, food, and wine. She loved it so much she chose Italy for a study abroad semester in college. It feels only right to begin their new chapter in this meaningful place. While their wedding day will be a private celebration, they can’t wait to celebrate with friends and family at their beloved acreage, affectionately known as “the Farmette.” We hope you’ll join us for this special gathering, where we can share laughter, friendship, and more champagne (I.e.
