Land & Inclusion Statements

Question

Land Acknowledgment

Answer

While we'll be blessed to enjoy this land, you're invited to take a moment to honor the Warm Springs, Wasco and Paiute Native American Tribes. Their land stretch from the snowcapped summit of the Cascade Mountains to the palisaded cliffs of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. Despite the great loss of traditional culture that occurred as a result of settlement on the reservation, the people of the Warm Springs Reservation (just north of us) have succeeded in holding on to many of their ancient traditions and values. Their longhouses still ring with prayer songs that have been handed down for generations.

Question

Human Rights Statement

Answer

This is an inclusive event in which the human rights and dignity of ALL persons are upheld, protected and respected. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly and safe event. All persons are considered and treated equally here. Racist, phobic, sexist, ideological intolerant and/or any other form of discriminative behaviors will not be tolerated. Only love, respect and peace are welcome. Thank you.
