How do I get to the Outer Banks?

Answer

For our jet-setters, the closest airport to fly into the Outer Banks is Norfolk, VA. From there it is an additional two hour drive to the venue. Carpool, anyone? For the road warriors, I find Apple Maps to be my preferred navigation buddy.

Where can I stay?

Answer

For ease and convenience, we have a room block at the Tranquil House Inn in downtown Manteo. Please see the travel page for info on how to book with the group code. There are also lots of different options in the area for hotels, quaint BnBs, and vacation rentals either on Roanoke Island, where the venue is, or oceanside in Nags Head or Kill Devil Hills. We hope you consider taking some extra time to relax with your loved ones and enjoy the Outer Banks as we plan to do with all of you <3 For those who are able to plan further in advance and prefer not to book through our room block, we recommend looking into accommodations as soon as possible, as the area is quite popular.

Yes! there will be plenty of parking at the venue

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors! There will be a tent over dinner which will also serve as a rain plan.

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity limits, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding
