How is the parking and the drive to the venue?
Answer
There is LIMITED parking available. Please carpool if possible. *** We will have people present to direct traffic and possibly park your car for you, but please, DRIVE A CAR THAT HAS FRONT WHEEL DRIVE OR 4x4!!! There are STEEP inclines on gravel road. Thank you for your flexibility!

Who is invited to the wedding ceremony?
Answer
In an effort to keep this sacred and treasured time intimate, we are only allowing a small number of people including grandparents and parents of the groom and bride. We appreciate your understanding.

What if I can't come to the Ceremony but really want to experience this moment with you guys?

Who is invited to the Reception?
Answer
Everyone who is invited to the reception will be listed when when you RSVP and will take place at 5:00pm on August 23rd, 2025

What should we do with our time in between the ceremony and reception for those that are coming to both?
Answer
There will be no scheduled activities in between these two events, however, there are plenty of things to explore in the area. This can also be a time to get lunch, recoup, take a nap, or change clothes. If you are willing and able, we will always welcome your help in setting up for the reception later in the day.

Where to stay in Oregon?
Answer
The Hampton Inn in Roseburg is a popular option. If you aren't a fan of staying in a hotel, there are also Air bnb's and Vrbo rentals in the area closer to Glide that are available to rent through their company.

What is the weather like in Oregon?
Answer
Although the weather will be dying down around the end of august, it will still be hot in the afternoon with the avg for the past couple years being in the 90s. If you are invited to the ceremony and reception, I would recommend bringing an extra button-down if you are a guy and breathable material if you are a woman. The reception will be taking place in the shade and it will be after the heat of the day, so it won't be unbearable thankfully!

What is the air quality like in Oregon for people with breathing disabilities?
Answer
August is a hotter month in Oregon and it is a dry heat. Oregon is also known to have wildfires in the summer which may impact the air quality.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the reception and the ceremony are outdoors, but will be held at times in the day that are cooler and will be in the shade.

Am I able to bring children to the reception?
Answer
Children are invited, however there aren't going to be very many activities to keep them entertained.

Is there going to be alcohol at the reception?
Answer
We will only be providing a limited amount of wine. However, there is going to be plenty of non-alcoholic refreshments available and you are welcome to bring your own alcohol if you would like. This is a special day that we have been waiting a long time for, so please party accordingly.
