Our story began at Mississippi State University, where we met through mutual friends and quickly bonded over our shared love for culture, good food, and sports. On March 25, 2023, Adam asked Jenny to be his girlfriend in a way that perfectly captured our relationship. While enjoying a seafood boil at Jenny’s home, she jokingly said, “I wonder when you’ll ask me to be your girlfriend.” Adam smiled and replied, “Well, we’re doing your favorite thing—eating and having a seafood boil… so will you be my girlfriend?” Jenny laughed at first, thinking he was joking, until she realized he meant every word. From that day on, life together became a beautiful adventure. We’ve traveled to five different states, supported our Bulldogs, explored new cities, and enjoyed countless food spots along the way. During our relationship, we’ve also faced seasons that strengthened us deeply, including health challenges that revealed Adam’s patience, faith, and unwavering love. One of our favorite little details about our story is that our birthdays are only two days apart—Adam on August 8 and Jenny on August 10. In 2025, we traveled to Colorado to celebrate. On August 12, while hiking Deer Mountain in Larimer County, Adam asked Jenny to marry him. It was a quiet and sacred moment—just us and the Lord. A sweet family of five who happened to be there witnessed the moment and celebrated with us, making it even more special. In many ways, their presence felt like a beautiful reflection of the future we hope to build together—one filled with love, faith, and family. Throughout our relationship, we’ve experienced seasons that strengthened us, including health challenges that revealed Adam’s love, patience, and steadfast support. Those moments showed the kind of husband he was already becoming. Most importantly, our relationship has grown through our shared faith in Christ. We truly believe our story reflects God’s love, patience, peace, and sovereignty. With the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at the center of our relationship, we are so grateful for the opportunity to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
