That's right, one fateful "right swipe" on Tinder brought us together. We instantly connected over text and knew we had to meet. Adam showed up to the first date 15 minutes early and texted me proclaiming he was "inside dancing on the bar". The moment our eyes met we both felt this immediate sense of comfort and purpose....which would explain why our date ended up lasting over 7 hours. It didn't take us long to decide we wanted to be a couple, and just a few weeks later I tried telling Adam I loved him...but he beat me to it. Shortly thereafter we decided being a 45 minute drive apart was just too far and moved into our first place together on October 18th 2019. We played A LOT of video games, and rescued our first animal as a couple. Then, on May 4th 2020 (one of my favorite days of the year, Star Wars day), Adam recreated the first meal he ever made for me and proposed in our kitchen. We laughed, cried, and danced on what we still consider the best day of our lives. We may move a bit faster than most couples, we may have gotten comfortable very quickly....but when you know you met your soulmate, you know.
