Adam was born and raised here in El Paso. He isn't really sure what I'm asking for, but his favorite color is red, he likes reading and he is interested in music, economics, agricultural sustainability, philosophy, religious studies and enjoys learning hands on skills. Adam was working as a manager at a local film establishment when covid struck and, with cinema on the decline, found himself in need of a new occupation. His interest in gaining new skills, as well as a passion for serving his community lead Adam to apply and eventually be hired at a local food bank. It was there that he met Hana. It was not love at first sight (I have just been informed) no he actually found her rather annoying at first, but she knew a lot about goats and he liked goats, so he stuck around. Hana on the other hand is from all over and was working internationally when the covid hit the fan. She went back to El Paso because, "why not?" Lack of employment opportunities lead Hana to getting a job at the local food bank and there our two star-crossed lovers met. Unlike some people, Hana didn't find her new friend annoying, in fact she really liked his honesty and how weirdly he looked at the world. He asked good questions and made even the most dull shifts interesting. Personal tragedy had also softened Hana heart on the subject of relationships and the girl who'd once insisted that she'd be, "single forever" found herself liking the boy despite herself. This is the point where two separate stories begin to merge into one. A late-night picnic in the desert and they agreed to date, for a week, they'd reconvene on the following Sunday to decide if dating was a mistake. One Sunday turned into two, turned into three, turned into meeting parents and getting new jobs. The world spiraled as mandates came and went but despite all the uncertainties around them, both Hana and Adam grew more and more certain of God's calling on their lives. They decided to get hitched and now here we are.
