We're getting MARRIED

Our story began on a spur-of-the-moment camping trip. My friend and I arrived at the campground late, tired and completely disoriented, squinting at a useless map in the pitch black. Just as we were starting to feel frustrated, we noticed a group of guys carrying an air mattress above their heads, shuffling through the dark. It was such an unexpected sight that we couldn’t help but laugh. “Hey, do you know where we’re supposed to set up?” we called out. They stopped, laughed with us, and pointed to an empty spot near their site. Grateful for their help, we quickly got to work. They lent a hand pitching our tent, and before long, a fire was crackling, and we were all chatting like old friends. The weekend was magical. We explored during the day and spent our nights around the campfire, laughing, sharing stories, and playing games. I couldn’t ignore the spark I felt with Adam—a connection so natural it left me wondering how it happened so effortlessly. When the weekend came to an end, we said our goodbyes and returned to our separate lives in different cities. But even with the distance, we stayed in touch, sharing texts, memories, and updates. That spark never faded, and as time passed, it only grew stronger. Eventually, we found our way back to each other, and those shared moments under the stars became the foundation for something much bigger. Now, we’re engaged, and I often think back to that first camping trip. A floating mattress, a crackling fire, and a weekend of laughter—it was the start of our love story, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us next.
