Matron of Honor
Gaia and I met in Reno, NV in 2018. We were on the track & field team together and lived in the same dorm building. Little did I know, she’d soon become my best friend. Gaia lives in Rio Del Mar, CA. Despite the distance, we still get to see each other a few times a year and always have an amazing time. Gaia has been there for me through a lot and I’m blessed to have her as my soul sister. Some of my favorite memories with Gaia have been sunbathing at Secret Cove Beach in Lake Tahoe, jetskiing at Boca Lake, our hikes with Kala, Dutch runs, bike rides on the beach, and the many nights just chatting it up.
Best Man
Dan is my big and only brother. He is my role model and I admire his stoic nature. My favorite memories are playing sports with him, catching crayfish in McDonalds cups and putting pennies on the train tracks. Just being his brother has opened up a lot of doors for me. Making him proud and trying to make him laugh are some things I will always try to do. He’s an amazing father and husband and I’m lucky to have a brother like him.
Bridesmaid
Vashti, my dear sister, the second eldest of the siblings. I was able to stand by her at her wedding, and feel so honored to have her stand by me in mine. You might see her with her adorable daughter, Hadassah (my niece) and husband Danny. She currently resides in Gilroy, CA, and I am so thankful that I am able to see her a few times a year but wish it was so much more. Some of my favorite memories with Vashti include dancing at my 18th birthday party, our 3am nights chatting, our silly FaceTimes, our San Francisco day trip, trying on her clothes ;), learning how to surf with her and Danny in Santa Cruz, the Michigan sand dunes, and all of our walk & talks.
Groomsman
I’ve known Mike since 5th grade and he’s a guy that can change a room with just his presence. I love who I am around him and there is never a dull moment. We have bonded over athletics and our inappropriate sense of humor. He always knows what to say and he’s exactly what a friend should be. He’s an amazing father and husband and I learn from him every time I see him.
Bridesmaid
Sarah, one of the most consistent people in my life, and my eldest sibling. She has supported me in so many ways throughout my life and I am so grateful to have her stand by me at my wedding. Sarah moved to North Carolina just a few months after I did which allowed us to spend more time together. I love how intentional Sarah is about her life, she inspires me in so many ways. Some of my favorite memories with Sarah include her driving overnight to Kansas to support me at the Junior Olympics, hiking at Raven Rock, our cross country road trip from Reno to Raleigh, Angel Rock and the Salt Flats, speaking Spanish with each other, all three of my graduations, our runs/walks in Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach, photo shoots, coffee dates, and late night chats.
Groomsman
He is a pillar in his local community. I’ve known him since diapers. A literal life long friendship and he’s always been there for me. Too many inside jokes to count and great fishing memories. Someone who never says no to a friend and is relentlessly himself no matter what. He’s an amazing father and husband who inspires me by how he lives his life.
Bridesmaid
Cassidy and I became friends in 2022 since we were both on the ECU track team. Cassidy was a freshman and I was in grad school but that didn’t stop us from being friends. Cassidy was a pivotal part of my time in Greenville and was a major support in my life during that time. Cassidy is a great person and friend and I am honored to have her beside me at my wedding. Some of my favorite memories with Cassidy were going for walks through Greenville, picking berries to make cobbler, hanging out talking about everything at the pool or on my couch, traveling for track meets, and mimosa days. I’m thankful to have Cassidy and the rest of our friend group in my life, they always know how to have a good time. HAO!!
Groomsman
We’ve been friends for over a decade and he’s always been there for me. He has a tremendous energy about him and always puts family first. He can make anyone laugh and is a true friend. He’s an amazing father and husband who inspires me with his work ethic and joy for life. We’ve had some very late nights and unforgettable memories together.
