Question

What's with the invites you sent out?

Answer

The invitation and RSVP details are plantable! Just place in soil, add water and you will have an Italian herb garden in no time! The seeds are for Oregano, Basil and Parsley. For more information you can visit: https://botanicalpaperworks.com/

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by March 1st 2023.

Question

Am I able to bring a guest?

Answer

When you RSVP you will see who is included under your party. There are capacity limitations at the venue that we need to abide by and we want to encourage an intimate environment for the event.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 24 hours before the wedding to get settled. Please keep in mind that Italy is celebrating Ferragosto (a national holiday) from August 15-29 which impacts hotel prices and availability.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend looking for hotels in or around Verona. This is the closest city center to the Venue and you will find the most options for hotels.

Question

Should I buy a sim card?

Answer

We recommend purchasing a sim card once you arrive in Italy. You can get 70gbs of data for 35 euros or something similar. Some popular providers are Windtre, TIM, Vodafone IT. If not you can contact your provider to ask about long distance/roaming options.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

We recommend renting a car. You can travel between big cities (Venice, Verona, Milan) using the train but getting to smaller towns can be tricky without a car. When renting a car the default is often manual so you will need to specify if you want an automatic. Italian roads are much narrower so we recommend renting a smaller car. There is no uber in or around Verona.

Question

Is there parking available at the villa?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available.

Question

Is there a highway? How should I get around?

Answer

Yes! There is the superstrada and the autostrada. The superstrada is free but the autostrada has tolls so make sure you know your route before you leave. We recommend stopping at an autogrill (only available on the autostrada) which are famous in Northern Italy for having some of the best quick eats and fun souvenirs.

Question

I heard that shops close in the middle of the day?

Answer

This is true! In many towns, a lot of the shops close between 12-3 for lunch. You will still find restaurants and museums open during this time.

Question

Is Italy dietary restriction friendly?

Answer

Yes! Italy caters to all dietary restrictions.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather can be relatively hot during the day (25-30 degrees) and usually cools down in the evening (18-20 degrees). We recommend light and breathable fabrics. We will be holding the ceremony outdoors (weather permitting) so we recommend chunky heeled/flat shoes so that you don't sink in the grass.
