Why DeLand, FL?

I am sure many are wondering why we chose a location in Florida we don't live in and that most people have not heard of. The main reason is that we wanted an outdoor venue that isn't a beach or a farm. That narrowed the options quite a bit. Everything that fit our criteria near Tampa was either too expensive or had way too many rules / restrictions. Erin found this venue on Instagram in August 2022 and we were immediately intrigued. We had visited about 8 months prior when we attended an Ohio vs. Stetson basketball game and really enjoyed the experience. After the first visit to Villa Festa, Erin immediately fell in love. Adam required some coaxing as he was keen on having it near Tampa. So, to make a long story longer... we truly believe this is a great place for us to tie the knot. The venue is beautiful, the owners have been great, and the quaint town of DeLand, FL is perfect for a wedding our size.
