Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 16th, 2025. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and we will have to mark you as “no”. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for the big day. Dress code is formal attire. Please wear floor length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses or a suit & tie. Please reserve white/ivory/cream for the bride.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We want our wedding to be a joyful celebration for everyone and we plan to party into the night! So while your children are welcome to attend, the event is geared towards adults. If childcare can be arranged, we encourage you to use this evening as a “night out” for yourself!

Question

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There is parking on-site for those who choose to drive to the venue. Otherwise, a shuttle to the venue will be arranged to pick up guests from the Best Western Plus promptly at 3:15 PM and 4:00 PM. The shuttle will leave the venue for drop-offs at 10 and 11 PM.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full bar supplying drinks all night long.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos as you like.

Question

Are the ceremony and the reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at Friends and Neighbors in Stone Ridge, NY.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Question

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

Our entire wedding will be vegetarian. There will be both vegan and gluten free options. Dinner will be served family-style so you’ll have a variety of options to try. When you RSVP please indicate your specific dietary restrictions so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What should I do on Saturday in Kingston?

Answer

We recommend spending some time in uptown Kingston, where we live! Get a cup of coffee at Rough Draft and a sweet treat at Kingston Farmers Market, check out the Senate House and Old Dutch Church, and shop around! Or ditch the ‘big city’ and go for a hike! We’ve got plenty more recommendations under ‘Things to do’.

For all the days along the way
