What time should I arrive?

Answer

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 15 minutes to give yourself time to park and find your seats. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started there is a chance you will not be able to be seated.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both will take place at Twin Gables in Sturgis, MI. We won’t be doing a first look so you will have some time during cocktail hour to socialize and play some games while we take our pictures!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site! There will be 2 attendees directing parking.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be indoors. The ceremony will be held in a grassy area so ladies please be mindful when picking your heels!

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of the kids in the wedding party. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a bar supplying drinks all night long!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we’d love to see all our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting semi-formal/formal attire. Please NO jeans, sneakers, and of course no wearing white!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged”ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give is to be fully present while we say our I do’s. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture these moments for us so please allow them to do their best work. After the ceremony please feel free to take AS MANY pictures as you’d like!

Answer

You can click the RSVP tab and RSVP anytime. We will include a paper RSVP with the invite if you prefer to mail your RSVP back to us!
