5/5/14 - The Yes Day! 5/10/25- The I Do!

"When I first saw you, I fell in love, and you smiled because you knew."

Many moons ago, I moved to Delaware and attended Brandywine High School for my Junior Year. Little did I know, I caught the eye of Adam during the fall sports season when he played football and I was the field hockey goalie. Fast forward to 2011, good ole' social media connected us. I was hesitant to respond to his request and had no idea who he was...I thought he was a stalker. Quickly, I realized he truly did remember our time at BHS. This time around, Adam's love for his boys caught my attention. I loved that he was an amazing father and put his family first. He was involved in every way, even making special dinners for holidays (like spaghetti and meatballs) to make it just perfect for them. A lot of time was spent talking, and listening, and talking some more. Adam's love of sports and music matched well with mine (Of course he started liking country music after spending time with me). I love the beach and he loves the mountains, but Adam is always up for an adventure to the beach just to see me smile. Early on we realized, when we were not together, we wanted to be together for all of the simple things in life. On 11/11/11, Adam made our relationship Facebook official...haha! From that moment on, 11:11 on the clock became extra special to us, too! We spent the next couple of years raising our children; Hayley, Daniel, Brandon and Daniel. (Yes, there are 2 Daniels!) Most often, we were spending time together with our children running from one sporting event to another. Ultimately, we were taking care of our families together. We were lucky to add going to 11 country concerts together during the summer of 2012. Who would have thought? Fast forward a couple of years, Adam proposed to me at Rockwood Park on 5/5/14 playing John Legend's song, “All of Me". We celebrated with margaritas...the perfect way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! A quick and small ceremony was in the works when life had other plans for us. College was quickly approaching for our lovebugs, so we decided to put off our special day for now and focus on helping our kiddos through college instead. Meanwhile, we have enjoyed lots of beach trips, car rides, and martinis at Ashley's together with our family and friends. And now...the time is right! It is time for the Miss to become a Mrs., and make this family official! We are so thankful for the support of our family and friends. We hope you enjoyed reading the love story of A & E (aka Adam and Eve). Ask Adam about that one when you see him... "Having a place to go is a home. Having someone to love is a family. Having both is a blessing."
