Tania is one of the most confident, insightful and super fun people I know. We connected over FaceTime before I moved to Boston and I knew we would be great friends! Tania has very a special way of helping me get clarity when I’m feeling confused and also think faithfully when I am fearful. She has been a blessing and a gift from God in my life. Her and her husband Alberto have made Adam and I feel so loved and believed in, both individually and in our relationship. They have made us feel like they are our biggest fans! Thank you Tania for being more than a great friend, for being my sister and my safe place. I am so grateful you’ll be by my side on my wedding day!

Kelly has been my partner in adventures for the past four years. Her steadfast love and support reminds me of God’s love for me. I’m so grateful for Kelly’s love for Adam too, her love for us was demonstrated in this, she was willing to third wheel! Thank you! Esti and I have known each other since 2005, when she moved to Reading, England from South Africa and she became my roommate. Since then, we have moved to different cities and even different countries, but our friendship has remained strong. She really reminds me of Pr. 18:24 “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” She has a lovely family now and I had the honor of being her maid of honor almost 9 years ago. I thank God for loyal friends like Esti! She has always felt like family to me. Esti, it is really such a blessing that you are still one of my best friends and I get to have you by my side on my wedding day! Ek is lief vir jou!

Jen is Adam’s sister, it means so much to both of us to have her standing by us on our wedding day, as we start this new and wonderful stage in our lives. I have had the joy of spending time with Jen and the family in the last year, and I am looking forward to more and more times together as a family. Jen is incredibly smart, fun-loving and warm. Clint was my first friend and has been my best friend ever since! My younger brother by only two and a half years, we have so many fantastic memories. From the silliest times to the most serious, he is my favorite guy to hang and laugh and talk to. We’ve lived in different states for many years now, but that can’t dampen my love for him. He is an incredible husband and father to Christie, Ryan, Parker and Nolan, and an awesome brother! I love you, Clint. I’ve loved you your whole life. I couldn’t be blessed with a better brother. You are the best friend I’ve ever had and that’s why I needed you as my Best Man!

Andre Livsey is straight up the man! He’s a man of God, he’s a Marine and he is an inspiration to me. Our personalities clicked so fast and our senses of humor fit so well together. He’s a deep guy with so many different talents and interests. Everyone knows about his fitness and health knowledge, but he’s also so creative and a great artist. Whatever he puts his mind to, he can do - and he goes all in, wholehearted. Andre, your faith, wholeheartedness and perseverance are an encouragement and inspiration to me. Lucas and I have known each other since our college days, nearly two decades, and has been as close as a brother to me through it all. At my lowest, loneliest times and my highest, most faithful times, Lucas has been there for me and with me. He is creative, hilarious, smart, athletic and super cool. As far as I know, the only thing he hasn’t been able to do is teach me calculus. Lucas, I couldn’t be more grateful for you. It’s been my blessing to watch Nathan grow up and mature over the years, from a smart and curious teenager into a wise and creative man. There are few that I connect with in the way that I do with Nathan, we think similarly, have the same sense of humor, love for the north shore, The Salem Willows and The Topsfield Fair. I’ve loved working with him at Teen Camp year after year, serving and creating memories for the campers. He’s a father now, another stage in his continual growth and maturing. Nathan, I love you, man. I love your creative spirit, your fun-loving nature and the way you bring people together around you. You’re one of my favorite people to spend time with, thank you for spending this time with me now!
