For my Maid of Honor, there are truly no words that feel big enough. I cannot imagine anyone else standing by my side on the most important day of my life. Makayla has always loved me with the purest intention—to protect me, guide me, and stand up for me when I needed it most, whether in past relationships or during the hardest moments of school. There are countless memories, but the ones I hold closest are the quiet, ordinary ones—her doing my hair and makeup for every school dance, youth group award ceremony, or simply braiding my hair when I asked. Even when I complained that she was pulling too hard on my hair, she never stopped showing up for me. Through every high and every low, you have been my constant, my safe place, and my biggest supporter. I know without a doubt that wherever life takes me, you will always be right there beside me, and I am endlessly thankful for you.

Ashley is truly my best friend and is someone I consider a sister. We have been through countless ups and downs together over the last 8 years, and I truly cannot imagine my life without her. One of my favorite memories is how we became friends—being in the same group chat and bonding over our shared hatred of math. I also cherish our sleepovers, staying up all night playing Mario Brothers, yelling at the top of our lungs, and eating way too many snacks. I am endlessly thankful for her love, loyalty, and the care she shows not only to me, but to my family as well.

Steph is incredibly kind, sweet, and endlessly uplifting, especially in our walk in Christ together. One of my favorite memories is the day we became best friends—dog sitting, watching murder mysteries, and playing The Game of Life, which somehow led to our inside joke, “grapes"… if you know, you know ;) God clearly meant for her and I to be best friends, and also we look alike too! We supported each other through a difficult and toxic season of life, and I will be forever thankful for her strength, love, and constant presence in my life.

When I first met Booke at work, I was honestly intimidated by her incredible work ethic with the kids. As we got to know each other, I quickly realized she is one of the sweetest and kindest people I’ve ever met, and someone I can always count on. She is incredibly reliable, supportive, and brings such a calm, caring presence into every room. One of my favorite memories is going to her house to study for an exam—lasting about ten whole minutes before we ended up belly laughing and stuffing our faces with food. I am so grateful for her friendship, her heart, and the joy she brings into my life.

Rachael and I first hung out outside of work on a double date, and that was the day you met my soon-to-be husband. From the beginning, your creativity and bright, joyful personality stood out so clearly. Your free spirit and beautiful way of looking at life are what make our friendship so special. Being the newbies at work together created a bond that brought us close, and I’m so thankful for all the laughter, encouragement, and light you bring into my life. You truly make everything more fun just by being you.
