National Aquarium
One of Adam's favorite places in Baltimore since childhood!
Lexington Market
A Baltimore experience - worth wandering with an open mind and hungry stomach. While we don't eat crab, the crab cakes at Faidley's are rumored to be Oprah's favorite.
B&O American Brasserie
Located around the corner from the Lord Baltimore Hotel, this upscale spot has nice cocktails, happy hour (weekdays only), and brunch.
Suspended Brewing Company
One of our favorite hangout spots, this brewery makes great beer and is a fun place to eat some takeout or delivery from Zella’s or Breaking Bread.
Minato Sushi Bar
We had our first date here, and we go back several times a year. The sushi is excellent, and the happy hour is one of the best in the city (Mon-Fri, 3pm-7pm, Sat, 5pm-7pm).
Ida B's Table
Another great restaurant which takes reservations, this is about a 10 minute walk from the Lord Baltimore Hotel and very close to City Hall - a place known for a bit of controversy within, but beauty on the outside. Their brunch is excellent.
SoBo Cafe
A great brunch spot in Federal Hill, this is one of the few (along with B&O American Brasserie) that take reservations (including via OpenTable), which we recommend.
R. House
This food hall has lots of great options. We recommend the fried chicken sandwiches from BRD and the Insane Jane breakfast sandwich from Ground and Griddled, but they have options to please all palates.
The Walters Art Museum & Mt. Vernon
This free museum that Bill and Adam both love in Mt. Vernon, the first neighborhood Adam lived in, is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Lord Baltimore Hotel. The Mt. Vernon neighborhood also has many excellent restaurants. One of the best is The Helmand, a superb Afghan restaurant.

A funky, fun art museum like no other.

Another great free museum in Baltimore!
B&O Railroad Museum
Located a few blocks from our house, this is a great museum for children and train enthusiasts.
Topside
This bar and restaurant, on the top floor of Hotel Revival, has one of the coolest views in Baltimore and some great cocktails. Our favorite is the Peacemaker.
Lord Baltimore Hotel
We just wanted to make sure the hotel where we've blocked rooms shows up on this list. We don't plan on holding any specific events at the hotel, so feel free to stay elsewhere without FOMO!
